Call for Abstracts

The conference committee would like to invite abstract submissions for presentation at the 5th International Conference for Mass Gatherings Medicine (ICMGM), under the theme “Legacy in Global Health Security” during 29-31 October 2023.

Submissions are invited for:

  • Abstract Poster Presentation

All abstracts must be submitted through the relevant poster links before the deadline of 22 October 2023.
Submissions after this date will not be accepted
Submissions via email will also not be accepted.

Abstract Submission Information

An abstract is a brief summary paper explaining what your presentation at the conference will discuss.
The program committee will decide on the allocation of your abstracts presentation type after the review process has taken place.
Although your choice will be taken into account, the abstract review committee’s decision is final.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Abstracts are to be submitted through the online portal using the abstract submission box provided.

  • The Abstract should be written in English.
  • It should be one paragraph with a word limit of 200-300.
  • Abstract titles should be short descriptive and informative titles.
  • The presenter author and co-authors should be written below the title.
  • Keywords should be provided as a must (no more than 6 words).
  • Keywords should be written in lowercase letters.
  • Abbreviations should be written in full the first time, mentioned in the text, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses.
  • References should be provided with the sources in brackets if necessary.

  • Title: Times New Roman, 12 points, Upper case
  • Authors: Times New Roman, 10 points
  • Body: Times New Roman, 11 points

Abstracts should include the following headings in their content:

  • Introduction
  • Aim
  • Method
  • Findings
  • Conclusion
