Dr. Tariq Althobaiti currently serves as the Emergency Medicine Lead at the Saudi Ministry of Health. He is the Secretary General of the Saudi Society of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Althobaiti has held various roles at King Saud University and Medical City. These roles encompass Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, Consultant in both Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Program Director of the Pediatric Emergency Fellowship, and Head of the Pediatric Emergency Medicine section.
Dr. Althobaiti holds Saudi and Arab board certifications in Emergency Medicine. He further pursued this by completing a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency. He also earned a master's degree in Business and Administration from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom.
Dr. Althobaiti boasts an array of professional certificates in Medical Quality and Healthcare Management. Dr. Althobaiti actively participates as a member of numerous committees and improvement projects on a national level.
